Rapid Tooling & Injection Molding
Rapid tooling and injection molding for validation batches.
Injection molding services for validation batches of 50–2,000 parts — 7075-core aluminum molds cut in about 3 days, all-electric presses, insert molding, inspection report with every shipment.
One-stop prototype & low-volume build · Inspection report with every part · Quote in 24 h
Between a 3D-printed prototype and a production tool sit the decisions that decide whether your program ships on time. Our rapid tooling cell closes that gap: L0 aluminum molds, CNC-cut with 7075 core inserts on standard CI-series mold bases, in about three days — then parts molded in-house on all-electric presses.
Built for validation batches
This is tooling for engineering validation and low-volume production: batches of 50 to 2,000 parts, so the parts in your qualification tests come from the same process your production parts will use. Insert molding runs in the same cell — overmolded inserts, threaded bosses and captured hardware.
Tooling feedback before aluminum is cut
Every tooling quotation carries DFM feedback from the molding engineers: draft angles, gate location, wall sections, ejector strategy and the resin callouts that drive the tool. And because the mold, the presses and the metrology live in one building, first articles are measured on KEYENCE IM and reported before the batch ships.

DFM + tooling quote in 24 h
Molding engineers return draft, gate and ejection feedback with a tooling quotation and a confirmed mold lead time.
Mold cut in ~3 days
7075 core inserts are CNC-cut and seated in CI-series standard mold bases.
Molding + inspection
First articles are measured on KEYENCE IM; the batch runs on all-electric presses with the report built as it runs.
Delivery
Validation parts ship with their inspection report in the box.
Equipment
Aluminum tooling, electric presses.
L0 Aluminum Molds
CNC-cut in about 3 days, with 7075 core inserts seated on CI-series standard mold bases.
All-Electric Presses
5 t and 30 t all-electric molding machines hold a stable, repeatable process window across the batch.
Insert Molding
Overmolded inserts and captured hardware run in the same cell, inspected with the batch.
Validation Batches
50–2,000 parts from the same process your production will use — proven before you commit a tool.

Inspection
Every batch, measured.
Molded first articles are measured on KEYENCE IM vision metrology before the batch runs; full-field checks use the SHINING 3D FreeScan Combo+. The inspection report travels with the shipment, and tooling DFM sets the tolerances both the mold and the report are held to.

Injection molding questions.
Tooling decisions are cheaper before the mold is cut — ask early.
How fast can I have molded parts?
An aluminum mold is cut in about 3 days; molding and inspection follow. Your quotation confirms the full lead time against your batch size.
What batch sizes make sense?
50 to 2,000 parts is the validation window where aluminum tooling pays off. Below that, print the parts; above it, we will talk honestly about a production tool.
Can you mold inserts in?
Yes — insert molding runs in the same cell on the same presses, with the inserts inspected as part of the batch.
Which resins can I choose?
Resin selection is confirmed with your tooling quotation based on the part's requirements, and molding grades are fixed with your DFM feedback before the mold is cut.
What about tolerances?
Molded tolerances are part-specific — they depend on resin, geometry and tool design. They are set with DFM feedback before cutting, so the tolerance on your drawing is the tolerance on your report.
Do you offer production tooling?
This service line is rapid tooling for validation and low volume. For larger programs we will tell you where the aluminum economics stop making sense.
